Needle Keeper
I found this cool idea on a website of somebody who had adapted a pair of old jeans and an old shirt into a holder to keep their knitting & crochet needles in.....so on Friday (public holiday) I set to work designing & making my own version out of upholstery fabric, ribbon & trimmings in my sewing cupboard! I'm SO happy with the results! :

Oh.my.gosh. Want one, need one, love it! Gins, I loved catching up with your blog today and oh goodness lady, you are one productive woman! This is absolutely fabulous and all your knitted goods [the business card holder is genius] are so beautiful...you've inspired me. In Selfridges I browsed through all the knitting books and this weekend I am buying some needles from a charity shop, some wool from a market and I am going to give it a bash! I might start with squares and make a blanket for an orphan in Mozambique. I also love the story of your Ouma...she would be delighted with you!
