I think that these are great principals to implement in order to stay creative:
# 27 is particularly challenging (especially when dealing with an invisible dead mouse which stinks & is generating flies on top of having displaced my entire workspace!!!)... and I could do with a touch more perfectionism & less breaks that amount to procrastination... and must remember #19 and get more rest!!

Light & Landscape
I just love overcast and rainy days when the light comes through the clouds without the sun breaking through, giving an infinite play of muted colours to the day :)
I popped in at Karen (my porcelain teacher) yesterday to fetch my latest creation..
I borrowed Jocelyn's teardrop shaped mini cookie cutter which I used to cut 'droplets' out of the form that I made out of porcelain.
Karen then showed me the technique of painting porcelain slip onto tissue paper & sticking it to the inside of the holes - this made a clay paper thin layer & has given this beautiful light effect after the glaze firing.
The teardrop shape inspired me to create this piece - to paint rain clouds & landscape onto my form with almost see-through raindrops.

Matching Luggage
I have been quite concerned about traveling safely with my Canon Selphy printer ( the idea is that I would like to create my photo album as we travel ) so I applied the same pattern logic as the camera pouch I made onto a much larger scale. I included a pocket on the front and one on the back to store paper, my paper cutter, double sided sticky tape etc in. I can even fit my camera charger in as well
I got Geoff to help me put strong pearl front studs on the camera case as well as the printer case to close them both...I think I will still put a bit of Velcro onto the back pocket to keep it really securely closed.
3 more sleeps till take off.
Unbelievably much to do before then.
